The bedroom is separate and closes off, so one person can turn in early while everyone else is still up. The lounge has a single bed and a pull-out single, and there is a separate kitchen with a full fridge and a cooktop — enough to cook a proper meal rather than live on takeaway for a week.
It suits families, and it suits anyone staying more than a night or two — people in town for work at the RAAF base or Kapooka, or visiting someone at the hospital. The rate covers four people; a fifth is $20 a night.
Like every room here it is on the ground floor, with onsite parking and the garden a few steps away.
